The most fashionable of Metro Detroiters walked the red carpet for Detroit’s most anticipated event of the summer party season, BravoBRAVO, sponsored by Fiat. Ladies were dressed in their finest cocktail dresses and gentleman were in their best black tie attire for this over the top night of celebration. This annual fundraiser supports The Detroit Opera House which is home of Michigan Opera Theatre. The beauty of BravoBRAVO is that the fundraiser is led, supported, & produced by the next generation of art enthusiasts. This year was the 20th year for the over the top extravaganza the loyal patrons have come to expect from attending BravoBRAVO!

This year’s festivities were hosted by Taryn Asher & Jason Carr which included entertainment by some of Metro Detroit’s most talented artists. The Detroit Opera House is transformed into a 75,000 square-foot posh nightclub. There is an array of food, music & libations every few steps beyond your wildest imagination.

The main stage featured the sounds of Nuclassica a five-member violin quintet who create amazing music with Las Vegas show feeling. Guests were also treated to the sounds of DJ Godfather who closed out the evening events. The great thing about BravoBRAVO is that there is something for everyone. If it’s house music you wanted to hear you just walked to the patio to listen to the sounds of DJ Alan Ester or upstairs to hear DJ Mike Todd.

Patrons at BravoBRAVO were treated to the culinary delights from some of Metro Detroit’s finest restaurants including Andiamo’s, Beans & Cornbread, Cheli’s Chili Bar, Great Lakes Burger Bar, Mrs. Pat’s Soul Food, Peteet’s Famous Cheesecakes, Wolfgang Puck Steak – MGM Grand Detroit and Joe Muer Seafood to name a few.

Thanks to the success of BravoBRAVO’s over the years Metro Detroiters can rest assured that they’ll have a place to enjoy the arts and other cultural events for many years to come.
